| | One of my favorite things about Los Angeles is the Largo. It's a great, intimate little space where I've seen some fantastic musicians play. I get introduced to a lot of great music, hear wonderful standards, and just really see these incredibly talented performers play music for an appreciative and silent audience. The largo has a strict no talking, no texting, no cell phone during performances policy which makes for a fantastic audio experience. The sad part is that you can't pull out your camera to record stuff. So, let's say you go to the Largo and hear a cover song you love (which I did last night) but you've never heard of it before. You catch a couple lines and commit them to try and google (which I also did) but then google can't give you even the barest of hints as to the title or the original singer.
So basically now I have two lines from a song stuck in my head and no way to find out more about it. this is driving me a little bit nuts. I don't even know how to further try and investigate! argh! this is going to drive me batty.
