i have been watching “amazing grace” the movie about Wilberforce and the British abolitionist effort and i am reminded of that great margaret mead quote:
“Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead.
And i wonder.
I wonder about where I would have stood when things got difficult. Would I have been among the small group of committed citizens?
also, major crushes on Ioan Gruffud and Benedick Cumberbatch (though that is a carryover from Sherlock).
